Very nice photos Fred!  Finally have a decent picture of the slip slide
indicator.  It appears that most everything has been updated at some point,
and the compass replaced with the windscreen unit (leaving that blank spot).

After seeing several different photos (it is especially clear in these) it
might be good to adjust the panel a bit.  For one thing the panel isn't
perpendicular to the airframe.  It appears that it should be more or less
perpendicular to the ground when the aircraft is at rest.  And then the top
half curves forward. 

David, if you're up to it those might be some nice adjustments,  I can rotate
the instruments so that they'd be flush with the panel like that.

Now, if someone happens to have an A-4F in a museum nearby (or sitting at the
local club hanger, in their back yard, etc), maybe a nice cockpit for that one
could be done :-)
