They toyed around with that for a while -- MSFS had some official Cessna sponsorship, and Fly! claimed to have aero data direct from Cessna and Piper. In the end, though, I doubt it matters much. If there's any buyer prejudice at all, it's probably towards the type of plane you trained in rather than the typed you used in a sim -- they'd be best to concentrate on the flying schools.
