One that I have enjoyed is following the Columbia river. If you start from Portland, OR (KPDX) the airport is right next to the river. Just start following it east. You quickly get into interesting terrain. Using various combinations of autopilot/terrain following and time acceleration can make your exploration go faster and reduce the risk of flying into the ground. The columbia river route would be really sweet in a wrap around immersive display system ... :-) Regards, Curt. -- Curtis Olson IVLab / HumanFIRST Program FlightGear Project Twin Cities [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] Minnesota http://www.menet.umn.edu/~curt http://www.flightgear.org _______________________________________________ Flightgear-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.flightgear.org/mailman/listinfo/flightgear-devel
