A long time ago, when faced with things that made absolutely no sense, I began asking myself a simple question: "Curt, what stupid thing are you doing?!?" That is a question I seem to ask myself on a fairly regular basis, and usually the earlier in the process I ask it, the quicker I find my stupidity. 99% of the time it is stupidity, so if you go out and hunt for specifically for stupidity you are more likely to find it quickly. At least that is my personal experience. :-) I've shared this with a few others, and now they frequently ask, "Curt, what stupid thing are *you* doing now?"
