Agreed.  I'm the author of that comment.   It'd be nice to get it out of the
main loop,  and the other fdm's are already handling this in their own way.

I agree. We will move this bit of code to the LaRCSim side w/ the next update (hopefully). For now, please leave things as they are ... in case we have trouble making this change.
