It'd be real easy to have keyboard.xml files for various layouts. BTW it sounds strange...only two keys to the right of the 0. Are you sure? The german and danish PC boards I've seen had two plus the backspace (total of three) to the right of the zero...same as American. Of course it doesn't matter much, the bindings are going to shift around anway. The better solution would be to have locale support with the keyboard, even something as simple as multiple keyboard.xml files. That would give us more keys to work with.
