The instruments are all separate .ac files so you reference them in other aircraft. See the 747/Models/boeing747-400-jw.xml file for an example of how to position them. The EFIS displays are 8x8 and some aircraft use smaller ones. Other than that, each aircraft seems to have slightly different display layouts and colors. Some minor adjustments could be made by modifying textures. Otherwise a copy of AC3D would be required.
