This is a good idea, but I think that we can take it a little further.
What if the PIF attachment automatically uninstalled MSFS and
installed FGFS in its place?  Curt would need to upgrade his server to
handle the load, of course, but then we could start sending out the
attachment even to people who do not currently use FlightGear, just to
ease their transition to Open Source.

We should get in touch with Linus and Alan -- they could use this
technique to get Linux better established on the desktop as well.
