For everyone who's been following my real-life flying experience since my agonies over the first intro flight, on my way back from Brampton (CNC3) to Ottawa (CYOW) with my family last night, my logbook rolled past 200 hours.
The second 100 hours has gone fast. This flight was memorable in other ways as well -- I've never taken off IFR from an uncontrolled field before (unless you count on-field FSS, which acts a lot like a control tower). Last night, I had to take off into a 600 ft ceiling under Canada's busiest airspace, flying directly towards the final approach path for the active arrivals runway at Toronto Pearson/CYYZ, a few miles away.
