You mean to take kown places for reference and determine the error of their placement in VMap0 data ? We'll have only a small amount of usuable reference points like crossings of really straight motorways. What else do you have in mind ? My main concern is the accuracy of several airport descriptions. DAFIF delivers data for Chambely in France that does not match with the data the pilots use for approach. St. Auban in France sits on top of a river valley in the SRTM based scenery .... Please note that I do not intend to blame Robin for his airport collection. He does a great job. I simply think that the sources of (mass) airport data that are publicly accessible are not that accurate, Martin. -- Unix _IS_ user friendly - it's just selective about who its friends are ! -------------------------------------------------------------------------- _______________________________________________ Flightgear-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.flightgear.org/mailman/listinfo/flightgear-devel
