I just did my first CVS checkin in over a year. :)
I need to fix a bug with YASim's slip angle reporting*, but before
that I thought I'd commit some cleanups to the helicopter code that
I've had sitting around. My account still seems to work.
Anyway: no behavior should have changed with this commit. Things look
good to me, but I'm a helicopter novice. Could the real helicopter
people please take a look and verify that I haven't broken anything?

* All of a sudden (i.e. sometime in the last year), the YASim planes
were reporting "static sideslip". The slip angle would settle out
at something other than zero for an aircraft with no control input.
Forcing it to zero with rudder caused dihedral rolling and other
unintended effects. It was as if the aircraft was really moving in
a direction other than it was pointing... Yup. You guessed it.
Wind. :) YASim reports sideslip as the angle between global
velocity and orientation, which is wrong.
