-- ATTENTION -- When performance or flight dynamics variances or inaccuracies are suspected, there is a process to follow to report this; doing so properly will help everyone.
Please include the following in your "report": 1) Version of FlightGear (fgfs --version) 2) Full command line used to make the run 3) Aircraft name 4) Description of condition that led to the error (airspeed, altitude, maneuvers, orientation, etc.) 5) A description of the error itself. 6) Background information that defines what you feel is the correct performance/operation. This is just a suggestion - there may be fewer or more pieces of information that would be useful - perhaps there will be further comment by others, here. Additionally, for JSBSim, you can report bugs by going to the JSBSim web site at www.jsbsim.org, and selecting the BUGS link at left. A detailed and concise report will benefit everyone, and avoid the need to ask the above questions repetitively.
