Controling the airplane with engines only is interesting, but controling it with engines on one side only is amazing. This could probably be modeled in JSBSim, and perhaps with Curt's new configurable autopilot for FlightGear. Interestingly, I read elsewhere that no owners of MD-11's are interested in the PCA system.
