Yes, I looked through update_helper, and the other error calculations are compatable with inertial systems, so only the heading source need be changed. Perhaps all we need is to reinstate a way to select inertial versus non-inertial sources, perhaps with "autopilot/config/use-inertial-sources", then have update_helper use "/orientation/heading-magnetic-deg" when "use-inertial-sources" is true, and use the DG source when "use-inertial-sources" is false.
