Hard to say without seeing the code. The ASE format isn't very well
tested in fgfs. Everyone uses ac3d models -- the few imported mdl models
do AFAIK not use animations. So, what could your problem be? Wrong object
names, wrong material definitions, wrong animation code, plib loader
bug, ...
