My personal opinion is that if you must include such a file, it would be better if you included that text at the start of the file itself. However, I do not see that there is any place for religious rhetoric in a package which I'm sure we would all be happy for all of the religions of the world to download and enjoy. I have personal reservations about any work that I provide being included in a package which includes religious views. As I licence anything I contribute here under the GPL I have no say in this matter. I can only hope to distance myself from such potentially polar views.
