Release matters are the project leader's business, and I don't want to
mess with his plans. But as there are rumors of a new release, and people
seem to agree that a new release is due, I dare to start this discussion.
Although I don't want (and can't anyway) keep anyone from posting replies,
I'd like the focus on *developers'* opinions. Please no "we should do this
and that" from people who aren't willing to contribute anything, anyway.
No abstract discussions about generic development philosophies, or somesuch,
please. Create a *separate* thread "user/lurker wishes for 0.9.9" etc.
if necessary.
These questions should IMHO be cleared:
(A) will a new official plib release be required?
(B) which bugs need to be fixed (and by whom :-)?
(C) which features need to be completed?
(D) which a/c should be included?
(E) for when could/should the release be planned (i.e. how much time
is left to fix bugs etc.)?
