Forgot my own homework: I'll fix endless querying of stale METAR data. It seems to have been done for the init phase already (Harald?), but should also be considered later on. Then there is the carrier "nearplane" problem that was already fixed and re-occurred in r1.25 of renderer.cxx. The fact that one can't see the deck around the aircraft, but a big hole.
