No, I mean how object orientation was a hack tacked onto Perl long
after Perl had been invented, and how for many people it unfortunately
*feels* like that when you try to use Perl for OO design.

Not that I'm a Java fan -- when I've programmed in it, it's because
I've had to (work), not because I wanted to -- but Java feels like an
object oriented language.  Object-oriented design in Perl feels
kludgy.  But obviously "feels" is a subjective term.
