I wouldn't object to a Garmin 430 in my Warrior to help with IFR flight, to allow me to fly approaches into more airports and to fly off airway. Around here, almost nobody flies the airways anymore IFR (well, everyone starts on the airways but then asks for direct to destination after about 10 minutes if ATC hasn't offered it yet), and it seems almost to confuse ATC that I need to stay on airway for my whole flight.
