although I am only guessing regarding the flightcharacteristics of such
a bird it is pretty clear for me that a tank hunter should have gotten a
more agile rollrate by construction.
So we won't get it wrong with some more "temperament" :-)
As for your CVS remark: regularly I am using the latest CVS and Alexis
tarball. But I have also the "old" 0.9.9 installed to be able to answer
user questions and to check my development of FGTools with the old version.
My comparison was between the "new" A-10/FG CVS and the "old"
A-10/0.9.9. The "new" A-10 will not load with 0.9.9 => got a loading
error when I tried.
Some years ago I had the change to get very close to an American A-10
presented at a German Navy airport. I was very impressed how one can
build a cannon looking like an aircraft :-)
