I saw a film of some flying at less than 100 feet off the bottom of a 200 foot valley doing constant 180 deg rolls back and forth. I think it took about a second, maybe less, to go through 180 deg and zero out the roll rate again. If the average roll rate is 180 deg/sec, then the max roll rate is really really high for something flying that slow. They had just finished firing blank rounds at OPFOR tanks and were deploying chaff and flares. There were burning flares all over the ground. I would hate to see one of those things coming for me.
