It seems we see different goals in the FlightGear helicopter simulation: I want to see a simulation of what is supposed to happen during a flight and I'm quite satisfied for now. Apparently you want to see a simulation of what is _not_ supposed to happen during a flight, so your expecations and your valuation of what's already there differs significantly.
