This is the way it is done, but I was just wondering if it wouldn't be better to do it on the graphics side. Maybe it would be good idea to test 3 (or more) axes parallel to the aircraft trajectory for intersections with non-model polys. Isn't there code that does something like that, at least for the perpendicular to ground axis?
