Well, you cannot prevent others from making money out of your work if you licensed your work under GPL. What you can do though, is make life extremely difficult for them. This is one of the reasons why my models are in pieces. You can bring this a step further by using multiple modelling formats. Essentially, this means your models would only work with FlightGear.
