Hm, I think changing asterisk sources is not a good idea because you
than need a special asterisk for creating a "radio station". In my
opinion the DME decision should be made by the client. If the distance
is under a special value the call will be placed.

It is no problem to place "open" chat rooms on free frq's. Also it may
be able to set a flightgear specialist on the emergency call frq :-)
without distance checking.
