since nvidia has released its 7xxx cards, 6xxx are very cheap. i have a 6800gs which cost 170euros and i don't find a freezing game yet. very good fps with fg (300 above the sea, 100 at ksfo and 40 above Paris: modified scenery by helijah) http://helijah.free.fr/flightgear/flightgear.htm but manufacturer will release, very soon, cards with directx 10 compatibility.
