I downloaded the file and did the edits to check for power. I am getting "nil used in numeric context" because /instrumentation/encoder/pressure-alt-ft is required in altAlert but has no value in the property tree. This is the same for the c172p, c182, and pa24-250. I am running from a Thursday compile from cvs, osg branch, both source and SimGear. All the annunciators are lit and all the buttons cause Nasal runtime error: no such member at /sim[0]/bindings/panel/binding[n], line 2 errors where n varies with the button. I am getting the same error and behavior with your unedited file and the c172p.
