Hi Curt, I think it's an hgtchop problem because demshop create 28 files where hgtshop create only 3 files. (for the same area : e006n43, and it's the same problem with the entire tile e000n40). Of course I double check the path, but files are in the same directory that 30' arc files and all is OK with them (a bash script copy the good file (tar.gz for dem30 or hgt.zip for SRTM3 ) in the same place before proceding then I'm sure about path).
