NOTES: On Plib and OSG, Win32

It seems as long as I can remember, fg has had a knack for not
being very friendly in a windows environment especially when a user wants to
try more than one installation version on windows.

The problem seems to lye with fgrun, it stores specific configuration data in a
windows system folder which is not appropriate for multiple versions of FG such
as plig and osg, because osg defaults the 3D clouds to a 0 value. In windows
this data is stored in C:\Documents and settings\username\Application
Data\Flightgear.org

But no matter where the OSG or PLIB versions are installed or what paths are
set via FGRUN or the BATCH file fgwrap.bat both OSG and PLIB use the same
C:\Documents and settings\username\Application Data\Flightgear.org PATH names?

I tried, changing the paths in the bat file but no go, and FGRUN does not have
command options to change where it stores this system information.

Their is only one work around I found which is very annoying, but works, and
that is to create 2 windows accounts each account then has these relative path
name's.

C:\Documents and settings\userACCOUNT1\Application Data\Flightgear.org
C:\Documents and settings\userACCOUNT2\Application Data\Flightgear.org
Etc.

It would be useful to create flightgear.osg and flightgear.plib directories so
by keeping none compatible settings apart for win32 users !!!!!!!!!!

Then I can have FG OSG installed on one, and PLIB installed on the other, but
this is a very inconvieniant way of having to do things!!!!!

Regarding the crashes when PLIB tried to access the configuration data created
by the OSG version of Flightgear --

AndersG suggested - I Check my autosave.xml maybe plib crashes because osg set
the 3d-cloud cache or resolution to 0. (Which it had done)

Strange things in FG?
Other oddities:

1/ flight instrument panel to goes dark when I turn on the HUD in OSG version.
2/ Vertical Speed indicator - the needle is twitching like it has altzeimers,
very unstable Both OSG & Plib
3/ Scenery paths are not always being saved ? (Not sure if this is a problem
caused by initial install of Plib & OSG being in conflict)
