I've been talking to a distant friend who works at Eurocopter in
Marignane and has been developing several parts of the EC-145 (the
windscreens for example) and EC-120 (maybe others as well).

The main difficulty, he told me, with getting real performance numbers
lies in the fact, that the production machines typically don't meet the
performance as promised to the customers. So, if Eurocopter would
release real performance numbers to the public, then they risk to get
sued by their customers.

Strange, but real ....

        Martin.
