As I am not a developer in much of anyway here, and without siding with any 'side', I would like to point out that whatever happens, it would be nice to at least get a uniform style. I am pretty much new to C++ and lots of times, tracing the code, I fail terribly, as grep et al miss (typical): ( foo* bar) (foo * bar) (foo *bar) even though they are all the same. Unless I had a degree in regex and sed/grep, it is virtually impossible to trace the code through.
