I'm pretty sure that in my original note that started this thread,
I said, twice, with asterisks for emphasis, that we should not
change the FG internals.

I'm pretty sure that Cm_de and Cn_dr are internals.

Is there really any reason to be discussing them on the FG list?
If so, please explain.
