I think you missed my point. I was stating that I believe it should be
removed from FlightGear CVS. It shouldn't have been there in the first
place.

Some features from the C172x migrate to the other C172 models, which is
fine, but again the c172x is "not for prime time". It doesn't really
represent a real aircraft, as far as I am concerned.
