nearly all freeware work for M$FS depends in some way on M$ copyprotected stuff: textures, modified *.cfg files, etc. so it never can be offered under the terms of a GNU licence, even if the authors would like to do so (what really isn't the mindset of that scene). You should honour that you as a declared M$FS guy are supported from all these nice developers here on the list for your commercial project - this is the spirit of OpenSource :-) So discuss M$FS on their Forum and FlightGear stuff here.
