I found the place(s) in renderer.cxx where the aspect ratio is assumed 
to be 4:3 and by computing the aspect ratio from /sim/startup/xsize and 
/sim/startup/ysize and replacing the 4.0/3.0 in the code, the 
distortions are gone while dragging the window boundaries.  I have a 
work teleconference at 1:00 PM MST, so after that and a little more 
testing, I will submit a patch.
