I've never flown one of these in real life, but I've seen a lot of R/C
variants flying. I assume there should be enough rudder authority in the
real thing to sustain knife edge flight? Right now the rudder can't quite
keep the nose up. (I know that many RC models can do "knife edge loops"
even.) The other thing I notice is that there might not be enough drag ...
speed doesn't bleed off nearly as fast as I'd expect it too ... start at 100
kts' over the threshold and you can pretty much glide the entire length of
the runway and still be flying at the other end.
