Right - realistically, in the real world, people don't run -RCs, they wait until they see a release announcement, then test and complain. That just seems to be the way of software development :) I've got a Radeon X1600 in my MacBook Pro, and don't see these issues, but I guess the OS-X ATI driver stack is quite different from the Windows stack. It'd be lovely to know if there are Windows ATI users who *can* run 1.9.0 without problems.
