When was that? I'm FlightGear developer since March 2001, and in
that time we never had such a directory. And at that time we only
had one aircraft, so I doubt it was before that.
What we got at some point was a --min-status option that could
and can be specified in addition to --show-aircraft.
--min-status={alpha,beta,early-production,production}
Looks like that doesn't work anymore, though.
