Hi Pete, Yes, they do seem to contradict each other however, if you have a --disable-[param] in a .fgfsrc file, then it's nice to be able to temporarily re-enable the parameter on the command line. Otherwise you need to edit the .fgfrc file each time you want to change back to the default. I haven't tested this scenario but the logic makes sense.
