Thanks. Deleted my modified soundmgr_openal.cxx, did a CVS update, and re-compile, and it all worked, at least for the default Cessna... As expected, the console output shows the line :- ALC Error (sound manager): ALC_INVALID_DEVICE at load file indicating some previous un-check, thus un-handled, ALC error... But it FLIES, with sounds! TAB (for Thanks A Bunch ;=))...
