Hi Pete,

It is good with bug reports but I think we need more detailed descriptions 
of (some of) the problems and also the exact version of FlightGear and the 
data you are using.

For the example above:

If your 400 knots was read of the airspeed indicator (i.e. is indicated 
airspeed (IAS)) that can be anywhere from about 400 knots true airspeed 
(TAS) if at sea level to over 670 knots TAS at 30000ft. The latter is 
well over Mach 1 and certainly above the never exceed speed for this 
aircraft.
