infact - Precisely the opposite :-) I want a contribution to go to flightgear org, and then that fund can be used effectively. FlightGear is a "platform" already with so so so many tangents. However, like FlightProSim, I would like to make some wedge, and why not. If one could create a distribution, with some attached "value add", such as CD's, laminated charts, a printed/bounded guide, sunglasses, tshirt, and a "ready to go" PC with FG installed and tuned and ready. However there will always be upstream costs, directly related to the FG ecosystem such as MP, and similar to reselling webspace/mailing services it would be considered the same imho. ie some margin would have to be pushed upstream for the system to work and be stable. I'm not a capitalist, however with a vision of having FG available in schools for example as fun and training material, then they would need a local consultant.
