I checked the libre fonts and this are my (quick) results for now: Allerta (modified): http://www.sablonier.ch/flightgear/splash/typosplash03.jpg
DejaVu (modified): http://www.sablonier.ch/flightgear/splash/typosplash04.jpg Both are well designed open fonts and have the right license for FG I think. Allerta could also be very useful for signage for other purposes in FG and the font has also very good readability on screen. DejaVu can come closer to the example with Rockwell when I change some points. Everyone can use Allerta and DejaVu on every system and we can also distribute this fonts with FG when we need to. No need for licence change and no need for another "licence" topic in this list I think ;-) Thanks - Yves -> Erik, I can send you the modified original typo files when you like to use it for the splashes.
