Out of curiosity, what are the steps you're following, and where did
you get your version of simgear-cs and terragear-cs? I've never had
any luck compiling simgear-cs. terragear-cs will compile (with
vanilla simgear), but only after making one change to the source.
Looking at the projects here:
http://mapserver.flightgear.org/git/gitweb.pl it's been nearly two
months since the last terragear-cs commit, and over five months since
the last simgear-cs commit. From my point of view, these projects
seem to be dead. Not to mention there are a handful of critical bugs
which prevent them from actually being useful (again, I've submitted
patches, but I don't think anyone is paying attention).

Here are a handful of other questions aimed at any/all developers:
- What is simgear-cs, and why is it being separately maintained from
simgear? Shouldn't all this work be in one place?
- What version of terragear are people using? The current one at
http://mapserver.flightgear.org/git/gitweb.pl doesn't even compile
because of a call to an undefined function.
- Who is maintaining terragear? Why are no patches making it through?
- Is there *anyone* who has the current terragear working?

I apologize for the frustrated tone of this message, but I don't know
what else to say.

Thanks.

Jeff Taylor
