Indeed, I understand that reading this stuff in digest mode must be really painful. Yet I think that swithing this to the 'regular' EMail delivery should cure most of the annoyance. I'd recommend to ping your list maintainer ;-) Anyhow, every commitlog EMail has the repository description prepended to the Subject (SimGear branch, FlightGear branch, FlightGear Base Package, ....), therefore every modern MUA should be able to separate the various commitlog EMails accordingly.
