Tangental thing - I thought the 'set a group of radio buttons exclusively based on their value matching a property' was automatic to the widget code. But I just took a look at the obvious places that use them (autopilot dialog, location-on-ground) and I've realised we have the 'set radios' helper all over the place. Yuck.
