The same applies to the other runway lights which are affected by the
same commit.
Anyhow I do acknowledge that there will be no proper solution for all
the other ones as long as runway edge lights, approach lights,
centerline, threshold and so on all use the same type of light source.

One might argue that approach lights are still looking slightly
reasonable from distance , but all the others are way too big. 
Therefore I think it would be a good idea to revert the entire commit
as a whole and to leave this place as-is until a better implementation
of airport lights comes up.
