Hi Eric, Every improvement to the realism of Flightgear is a big step forward. I'm not very knowledgeable about this subject, but there is an older bug report which may be related to your changes: https://code.google.com/p/flightgear-bugs/issues/detail?id=243 which has to do with compressibility effects not being modelled by Yasim. Perhaps with your changes and new ideas, this issue can be solved now by Andy Ross or other contributors. Unfortunately I can see that the team is quite understaffed at the moment, and I hope that our merge requests get through by 3.0.
