It's sort of a yes and no. Technically, the current configuration builds "smaller" packages (where the largest package is about 500 MB, and the package which must be downloaded for the fix). However, based on what I'm seeing, with the current configuration, if one of the packages change, then all of the packages change and have to be downloaded; that being said, I'm still hoping that only fgfs-base package will be recorded as changed.
I suppose that you could forcibly say "sudo apt-get install fgfs-base" as a temporary solution once the package is published, but the package manager will still annoy you.
